Dalhousie is a beautiful  hillstation in the North Indian state of Himachal Pradesh which is 92 Km from dharamshala . Rabindranath Tagore wrote his first poem in Dalhousie as a boy. It is situated at 580km from delhi. Nearest Airport from Dalhousie is Gaggar at kangra which is 130 Km from Dalhousie. Chakki Bank is nearest railway station which is at distance of 64 km from it. Gandhi Chowk is situated in the center of the city. It is near to Subhash Chowk, Tibetan Market, Thandi Sarak (Mall),Garam Sarak (Mall) markets.for the shopping purpose.Gandhi Chowk &  Subhash Chowk are the main markets where tourists can get Tibetans handicrafts,Woollen Jackets ,Cardigans,Paintings & Rock cravings. Satdhara is a spring which is in the way from PanchPulla to Dalhousie. In the past there were seven flowing springs but today only one spring is remained there. The water of satdhara contains mica & medicinal properties. Visitors can also go to Jhandri Ghat,  Bakrota Hills, Dyhekund, Gold field & Subhash Baori which are very near to Saptdhara. At the distance of 9 km from Dalhousie there is a tourist spot Kalatope,which is filled with the marvelous views of the green velleys, mountains & calm forests. Khajjiar is a good picninc spot..It is a big Golf ground full of grass & long trees of cedars at the corners. Tourists can also enjoy the horse riding here. There is also a temple of Nag devta which is around 700yrs old & the sculpture of the temple is marvelous. Khajjar is a exact place to spend vacations. Dalhousie has charming colonial architecture, including some beautiful churches. The Churches of Dalhousie are worth visting. St. Andrew”s Church, St.Patrick’s Church at Balun, St Francis Church at Subhash Chowk & St.John”s Church at Gandhi Chowk are four beautiful churches in Dalhousie which are a beauty in themselves.
